            Winter 2004


            Michael is now 10 and still likes gardening, albeit not as much as he used to. During the past few seasons, he has tried growing pumpkins and watermelons. His first watermelon tasted pretty good, but the second one... well, I think he left it on the vine a bit too long.

            He is a chronically-acute asthmatic who tends to overdo things (just a bit) when he's having fun. Clearing out the gardens after winter will likely cause some breathing problems for him, but I know he'll do his best to have a great garden again in 2005.
