Michael is well today, thank God. We packed and checked out of our motel and headed to the beach. Eric met us there, after I paid a visit to the Fudge Kitchen at Convention Hall. Although the owner was not available, I did speak with several employees who thoroughly described their preparation, cleaning and serving procedures to me. I was satisfied that they were all very aware of the necessity of keeping peanut and chocolate products far away from other flavors. Mistakes happen, but it worries me anyway.
Eric met us at the northern end of the beach today. As of now, we have spent a day at the southern end, the middle and northern. We all agreed that we liked the sand at the middle beach (near Congress Hall) the best. Eric and Corey helped Michael build his first sand-castle with 2 islands.
Later, after dinner and showers, we went to Sunset Beach for the... well... sunset! They have a really nice flag-retirement ceremony and for the first time in many years, we finally saw a beautiful sunset over the Delaware Bay (the other times we'd been there, it was too hazy for a good sunset).
