Day 2
Saturday September 14, 2002

In week two we continued working through the fill, and removed about three-quarters of what appears to have been two separate fill episodes from the courtyard behind the Stevens House. The outlines of what may be a privy and a cistern were discovered, as was a long, intrusive trench feature, which may relate to the placement of a sewer line in the twentieth century.
