| In week one, our goals were to orient the team to the conditions of the site and to remove as much of the 20th-century fill from the site as possible. In so doing, we recovered a number of artifacts from fill, and began exposing a brick pavement that may date to the intial construction of the Stevens House in the late 18th century. |
